En Résonance avec la 11ème Biennale d'art contemporain de Lyon.
Thomas Henriot dessine. Sur le motif. Au Maroc, au Liban, au Togo, en Chine, en Argentine, à Oman, au Mali, en Mauritanie, en Inde, à Marseille, à Cuba, au Brésil, partout où ses pas le mènent à la rencontre des autres et de terres étrangères.
Son art lui sert de lien et de langage pour entrer en communication avec les spectateurs inconnus qui assistent à l’élaboration de ses œuvres.
L’artiste dessine au sol plusieurs œuvres d’affilée sans interruption, en public, et la présence de son corps au travail reste à jamais marquée dans ces rouleaux qu’il transporte avec lui, peintures légères et nomades.
La démarche artistique de Thomas Henriot est tout à fait singulière car elle conjugue à la fois un vrai savoir-faire traditionnel, une découverte du monde pleine d’allant, un engagement de son métier d’artiste confronté en direct aux regards, une expérience physique du dessin en jet continu.
Vivre le dessin, 2010, Anne DarySon art lui sert de lien et de langage pour entrer en communication avec les spectateurs inconnus qui assistent à l’élaboration de ses œuvres.

The artist draws on the ground several works in a row without interruption, in public, and the presence of his body in working, leaves its mark forever in these rolls carried with him, light and nomadic paintings.The artistic initiative of Thomas Henriot is completely singular: it combines at once a real traditional know-how, an ambitious discovery of a world, a commitment of his artist's job directly confronted with the glances, a physical experience of drawing in continuous jet.
